Dr. Nandita is the Vice President of MAICSA, having been appointed to the position in July 2024.
Nandita's journey with MAICSA began when she was first elected to the MAICSA Council in June 2015. She was re-elected as a Council member in June 2017 and served in that capacity until March 2020. Subsequently, she was co-opted to the Council in August 2022 and was later elected to the Council in July 2023. As an Office Bearer, she also held the position of Honorary Secretary of MAICSA.
Nandita actively represents the Institute on various committees. In her current role, she serves as the Deputy Chairman of the Constitution Task Force. She represents MAICSA in the Corporate Practice Consultative Forum (CPCF), the CPCF Technical Committee, and the CPCF Technical Focus Group, established by the Companies Commission of Malaysia. Furthermore, she is also the Institute's representative at the Company Secretaries Consultative Group (CSCG) and the MAICSA-CTIM Joint Working Committee. She is the nominated Co-Chairman from MAICSA on the MAICSA – CTIM Joint Working Committee. She is, presently, also a member of the Education Committee.
Nandita had also contributed her services as a Trainer under the Training Department of MAICSA. She is also a presenter at several Students' Conferences and dialogues organised by the Institute in collaboration with various universities in Malaysia. Nandita was also actively involved in and contributed to the development of case studies for the MAICSA Young Corporate Professional Governance of the Year award.
During her professional career, she headed the Company Secretarial Department at Shearn Delamore & Co from 1993 to 2003. Before that, she held the position of Company Secretary at Adnan Sundra & Low, and subsequently in PFA Consultancy Sdn. Bhd. Nandita established her own secretarial practice, known as Attentus Corporate Services Sdn Bhd, located in Kuala Lumpur, which she managed for almost 15 years. Her extensive experience in the company secretarial field spans over 40 years, covering both Private Companies and Public Listed Companies.
From April 2020 to July 2022, she served as the Chief Executive of MAICSA Secretariat.
Currently, Nandita is also involved in lecturing at Tunku Abdul Rahman University of Management and Technology, where she imparts her knowledge to students pursuing the Master in Corporate Governance and Bachelor in Corporate Administration. She completed her Doctorate in Business Administration and was conferred her Doctorate in June 2024.
