On 17 February 2025, Federal Government gazetted the following Acts which had received the Royal Assent on 7 February 2025:

Trustee (Amendment) Act 2025 |

The Trustee Act 1949 [Act 208] (principal Act) is amended in section 3 by inserting the definition of “Minister” after the definition of “mentally disordered person”, new Part IVA, and new sections 66A and 66B. The Trustee (Amendment) Act 2025 (Act) will come into operation on a date to be appointed by the Minister by notification in the Gazette. Please click on the following for further details: |

Trustees (Incorporation) (Amendment) Act 2025 |
|
The Trustees (Incorporation) Act 1952 [Act 258] (principal Act) is amended in section 1A by inserting the definition of “Minister” and “prescribed” after the definition of “certificate of incorporation”, new sections 2A and 2B, new section 15A, new section 20A, amendment of section 5, section 6, section 15, and section 21. The Trustees (Incorporation) (Amendment) Act 2025 (Act) will come into operation on a date to be appointed by the Minister by notification in the Gazette.
