On 4 October 2024, Lembaga Hasil Dalam Negeri Malaysia (LHDNM) issued a media release stating that a new Monthly Tax Deduction (PCB) system, e-PCB Plus, had been developed replacing the existing systems namely e-PCB, e-Data PCB, and e-CP39, under a single platform through the MyTax portal.
Starting from 24 September 2024, the e-PCB Plus Phase 1 will be available to employers as a preparatory step before the system becomes fully operational next year. Phase 1 involves the registration of the roles of Employer / Employer Representative / PCB Administrator on MyTax, while the registration of the roles of Administrator Representative and updating of Employer and Employee Information will be carried out in e-PCB Plus.
