On 6 June 2024, Suruhanjaya Syarikat Malaysia (SSM) issued the updated Guidelines For Corporate Rescue Mechanism Under Division 8 Part III Of The Companies Act 2016 (Guidelines). The Guidelines provide guidance on the general requirements relating to Corporate Voluntary Arrangement (CVA) and Judicial Management (JM) under Division 8 Part III of the Companies Act 2016 (CA 2016), the Companies (Corporate Rescue Mechanism) Rules 2018 and Practice Directive No. 4/2018.
