PMO - Letters To Government Departments Must Be Written In National Language

On 25 October 2023, the Prime Minister Office of Malaysia (PMO) issued a media release stating that all government departments are reminded not to entertain any letters written in a language other than the national language. The Prime Minister also highlighted that in the event that the government departments receive letters from local companies or public and private universities in languages other than the national language, they should promptly return them to the sender.
