Income Tax (Exemption) (No. 2) Order 2023

The Income Tax (Exemption) (No. 2) Order 2023 took effect from the year of assessment 2019 relating to a principal hub in the basis period for a year of assessment will be exempted from the payment of income tax in respect of the statutory income derived from the core income generating activities provided that an application for the exemption shall:

• be made in writing by a principal hub and received by the Minister through the Malaysian Investment Development Authority on or after 1 January 2019 but not later than 31 December 2020; and
• comply with the conditions imposed by the Minister.

Income Tax (Exemption) (No. 3) Order 2023

The Income Tax (Exemption) (No. 3) Order 2023 took effect from the year of assessment 2019 relating to a principal hub in the basis period for a year of assessment will be exempted from the payment of income tax in respect of the statutory income derived from core income generating activities provided that an application for exemption shall:

• be made in writing by a principal hub and received by the Minister through the Malaysian Investment Development Authority on or after 1 January 2019 but not later than 31 December 2020; and
• comply with the conditions imposed by the Minister.
