LHDNM - Public Consultation on Public Ruling |

LHDNM is inviting the stakeholders to comment on the proposed Public Ruling: Agricultural Sector Incentive - Tax Incentive For Approved Food Production Project. The proposed Public Ruling provides an explanation on the tax treatment of agricultural sector incentive that is available to persons participating or intending to participate in a business in relation to an approved food production project in Malaysia. Members are advised to submit their responses from 26 July 2023 to 8 August 2023 to kufeedback@hasil.gov.my. Please click on the following for further details: |

Instalments Payment of Income Tax and Real Property Gains Tax Arrears |

LHDNM issued a media release announcing that taxpayers can apply for an instalment payment of income tax (CP) and real property gains tax (CKHT) in arrears for the past years without subjected to a tax increase. The application period is from 6 June 2023 to 31 May 2024, which is during the Special Voluntary Disclosure Programme (SVDP) 2.0 period. The application can be made in writing by submitting to the nearest HASiL office or the Branch a taxpayer belongs to or an online application via the Customer Feedback Form through the MyTax platform in the HASiL's Official Portal.
