PDPA - General Code of Practice of Personal Data Protection

On 13 January 2023, the Personal Data Protection Commissioner released the General Code of Practice of Personal Data Protection (General Code) aims to enforce compliance with Section 23 of the Personal Data Protection Act [Act 709], regulations and standards and establish guidelines to the Class of Data Users who have not prepared a Code of Practice and there is no data user forum to develop the relevant Code of Practice for the Class of Data Users. The General Code took effect on 15 December 2022.
