The IT Senior Officer at MAICSA (Malaysian Institute of Chartered Secretaries and Administrators) plays a pivotal role in supporting the organization's information technology systems and infrastructure. This position is responsible for ensuring the effective functioning of IT resources, assisting with user support, and contributing to IT projects and initiatives.
Key responsibilities:
- Provide technical support to end-users, troubleshooting hardware and software issues, and ensuring timely issue resolution
- Assist in the setup, configuration, and maintenance of computer systems, including hardware and software installations
- Monitor and maintain IT inventory, system backups, ensuring accurate records of hardware and software assets
- Support the Deputy Manager of IT in executing IT projects, including system upgrades, migrations, and deployments
- Assist in user training and education on IT tools and best practices
- Coordinate with external vendors for hardware and software procurement and maintenance
- Assist in monitoring network performance and security, reporting and addressing issues as needed
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure IT support aligns with organizational needs
- Maintain the existing web applications using ASP.NET
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree or diploma in IT or related field
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to diagnose and resolve technical issues
- Proficiency in ASP.NET web development using Visual Studio, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, MySQL and VB Script programming
- Familiarity with Microsoft Windows operating systems and Office 365 applications
- Basic knowledge with Network Infrastructure, Crystal Reports and Adobe Photoshop would be an added advantage

Key responsibilities:
- Responsible for all daily accounting tasks, including preparing payments, compiling listings, proper filing system, and updating records
- Managing accounts receivable and payable, as well as expenses
- Prepare monthly bank reconciliations in a timely manner
- Supporting day to day administration and office support
- Liaise with auditors and bankers as and when required
- Any other ad hoc task assign by immediate superior or superior
Requirements:
- Minimum Diploma or Degree in Finance or Accountancy
- At least 3-5 years working experience in any industry
- Able to meet deadlines, muti-task, and capacity to work independently
- Sound knowledge of accounting procedures and internal controls and analytical skills
- Good communication skills, both written and verbal in Bahasa Malaysia and English
- Highly organized and detail-oriented
- Sound computer skills and knowledge and well-versed with accounting systems i.e., Mysoft Accounting System, preferable or other accounting systems

The Corporate Communications Head will oversee all communications involving the organization including the development and implementation of a communications strategy and a broad and diverse range of business and marketing communications.
Key responsibilities:
- Hires and trains communications staff
- Organizes and oversees the schedules and work of communications supervisors
- Conducts performance evaluations that are timely and constructive
- Collaborates with executive leadership to develop the corporate mission statement
- Develops and implements a communications strategy for the institute that builds and maintains a positive corporate brand
- Oversees corporate communications and branding in various online and print platforms such as LinkedIn, Twitter, Facebook, and industry magazines
- Oversees the development and maintenance of the corporate website including methods to deliver message, ease of navigation, and clarity of information; ensures that all content is current and relevant
- Provides consistent and timely information to employees through various communications programs
- Acts as corporate spokesperson and responds to members of the media in a timely manner; composes and distributes press releases as needed
- Develops and maintains positive professional relationships with various members of the media
- Assists executive leadership in developing presentations, speeches, and other important corporate messages
- Provides suggestions concerning graphics, clarity, distribution, and press releases to Finance and Accounting departments for preparation of the Institutes annual report
- Develops, implements, and adheres to communications budget
- Develops, composes, distributes, and implements polices to enhance the efficiency of the communications department and to further develop the building and maintaining of a positive corporate brand
- Performs other related duties as assigned
Requirements:
- Bachelors degree in English, Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, or related field
- Multiple years of experience in public relations, including supervisory and comprehensive marketing experience required
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or related software
- Organized with attention to detail
- Superior ability to write in a journalistic style that is customary for corporate and external publications
- Ability to offer sound media relations advice to senior leadership
- Excellent managerial and organizational abilities
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Ability to work with corporate management, employees, media, and the larger community
- Ability to coordinate efforts of various teams in order to present a coherent message
- Good PR with Regulatory Bodies, Government Bodies and Professional Bodies will be an added advantage
