It is the objective of the Institute to encourage and cultivate a CPE culture amongst members to improve themselves and also to enhance the institution's image, status and dynamics of MAICSA as the leading professional body for corporate secretaries and administrators in Malaysia.

The Institute organises monthly CPE programmes for the benefit of members and the public. The programmes are held in Kuala Lumpur, Penang, Johor Bahru, Kuching and Kota Kinabalu.
