MOF - Recognition of CPD/CPE Points for Online Tax Training
On 7 January 2021, the Minister of Finance (MOF) issued a letter stating that pursuant to subsection 153(4) of the Income Tax Act 1967, the MOF agrees to grant CPD/CPE points for online tax training, subject to the following conditions:

The online courses and seminars must be held between the period from 1 January 2021 to 30 June 2021; |
| 2. |
The organisers are required to monitor the online attendance of participants through a systematic login and logout system; and |
| 3. |
The organisers are required to create an evaluation system to assess the level of understanding of participants for attending the online courses and seminars. |
The allocation of CPD/CPE points for panel members, speakers and chairmen are as follows:
