MAICSA delegation paid a courtesy visit on the Companies Commission of Malaysia (CCM), Sabah on 10 July 2008.

CCM’s state director Hajah Rosnah Hj Ali welcomed the MAICSA delegation and introduced her team. This was followed by an introduction of MAICSA by president Akbar Moidunny FCIS who also gave an update of the collaborations with CCM in Kuala Lumpur.

Further, issues pertaining to company secretaries in Sabah were discussed during the visit.

On the following day, MAICSA delegation visited the Inland Revenue Board, Sabah. MAICSA delegation had the opportunity to meet all the regional heads of IRB Sabah who coincidentally were in Kota Kinabalu for a regional meeting.

The platform was also used to discuss future collaborative efforts between the two parties.

Led by president Akbar Moidunny FCIS, the MAICSA delegation for both visits included deputy president and regional chairman Janet Ang FCIS, CEO Philip Tan and members of the Sabah Liaison Committee.
