The Institute organised a Company Secretarial Practice (CSP) Forum on 17 January 2008 at Bangunan MAICSA in Mid Valley City, Kuala Lumpur. The discussion was centered around the practical issues arising from the amendments to S.132, S.132C, S.132E and S.145A of the Companies Act 1965.

The forum provided a platform for the MAICSA Technical team to receive views and opinions from members and practitioners on issues pertaining to the profession. Relevant comments and feedback would be compiled for submission to the Companies Commission of Malaysia (CCM) for their consideration.

47 participants took part in the forum which was facilitated by MAICSA honorary secretary Dr Cheah Foo Seong FCIS.
