The Malaysian Institute of Chartered Secretaries and
Administrators (MAICSA) organized a blood donation drive
on 18 October 2011 in collaboration with University Hospital.
The event was held at Bangunan MAICSA in Mid Valley City,
Kuala Lumpur.
University Hospital’s Blood Transfusion Unit, led by Dr. Aung
Aung Myint, arrived early morning to set up the beds and
equipments for the drive.
A total of 62 donors, from the offices in Mid Valley City, turned
up in support of the event. Among them were staff from Halim
Mazmin Berhad, Tricor Corporate Services Sdn. Bhd, Marie
France Bodyline, Yahoo Malaysia and Wah Seong Corporate
Berhad.
In appreciation of their support, each donor received a token
of appreciation which was contributed by Pathlab and Golden
Screen Cinemas.
On hand to receive the donors were MAICSA president
Dr Cheah Foo Seong FCIS and Chief Executive YC Chan FCIS.
