In today’s competitive world, we need to enhance the ways in
which we promote the products and services that we have to offer to the public.
One of the ways is to develop our own websites as a platform to announce our
products and services to the world at large.
Similarly, Practising Certificate holders
will do well to announce the services they have to offer as Chartered
Secretaries in Public Practice by way of their own websites. We are pleased to
inform Practising Certificate holders that MAICSA is offering a special service
to design their websites of at a nominal fee of RM1,500. The web design service
will include the following:

Total number of pages:
5 to 10 A4 size HTML pages but not exceeding 10 pages |

Contents include texts
and graphics and an online enquiry form

Maximum of 5 graphics
in each HTML page

Contents less than a
page will be considered as one HTML page
|
| • |
Free minor changes to
the content update for a period of one month after delivery.

| 1. |
| The design cost does not include the following: |
| • |
Conceptualisation of the website
|
| • |
Storyboard, copy writing, animation, flash introduction and
database development
|
| • |
Domain name registration and web hosting, for which the annual
recurring fees shall be paid directly to ISP or ASPs (Internet or Application
Service Providers)

| 2. |
Upon the acceptance of the design prototype, only minor
alterations will be permitted on the design prototype
|
|
| 3. |
Only when the design prototype is approved will the actual
website design and development commence
|
|
| 4. |
Upon the handover of the website, any additional HTML Page will
be charged at a rate of RM130 per page, and a further RM65 will be charged for
any minor amendments or deletions, if and when requested
|
|
| 5. |
Domain name registration for local domain (any .my domain name)
would incur an additional charge from RM80 to RM100 per annum, whilst
registration of an international domain (.com/.net/.org/.us/.info/ .biz/.name)
would incur an additional charge of RM35 to RM55 per annum
|
|
| 6. |
Costs for web hosting may start from RM200 onwards, depending on
the requirement. This cost will include e-mail hosting.
